Are you having trouble unlocking the full potential of your students’ vocal talents? Do you struggle to feel comfortable singing in front of others? This breakout will focus on giving you tools and strategies that will make singing and vocalizing in your classroom a fun and engaging experience for everyone. During the session we will cover topics such as, vocal improvisation, call & response techniques, scaffolding and approximation, vocal riffing, harmonizing and superhuman effects for your voice! When it comes to singing, each grade level carries a different set of challenges so time will be spent discussing the differences between a 3rd grade Mick Jagger and a young adult version of Adele. By the end of the workshop, you will have a new set of strategies and ideas that will make singing a much more desired activity for you and your kiddos!
